When provisioning the SAM.gov connector in TechnoMile's Growth solution, TechnoMile requires the Customer to generate an API Credential to allow Growth to retrieve opportunities on behalf of the Customer.
System for Award Management (SAM) is a web-based, government-wide application that collects, validates, stores, and disseminates business information about the federal government's trading partners in support of the contract awards, grants, and electronic payment processes.
SAM.gov Connector for TechnoMile Suite Platform edition is an application that automatically imports opportunities from https://www.sam.gov/ into Growth, which ensures that data is accurate and up to date.
Steps to Generate SAM.gov Key
Generate Public API Key
- Go to https://sam.gov/.
- Click Sign in.
- Click Accept.
- Enter Email address and Password and click Sign In.
- Enter One-time security code that will be received on your registered email address/mobile number and click Submit.
- Click the Profile link.
- Account Details page opens, Scroll to Public API Key and click Generate Public API Key.
- Click the eye icon to view the public API key, and click the copy icon to copy the generated Public API Key and paste it into an external application such as Notepad for use within TechnoMile’s Growth Suite. Provide this API Key to your Client Success Manager for use by the TechnoMile Provisioning Team.
Note that this Key is valid for a duration of 90 days ONLY.
