Link an Opportunity to GovWin IQ

The TechnoMile Growth Suite includes a connector to Deltek . This allows you to link an Opportunity in Growth with its related record in GovWin IQ. Then, right from your Opportunity record in Growth, you have easy visibility into snapshot, timeline, description, and contacts details from GovWin IQ, as well as any documents. Each opportunity remains linked, so any updates or new documents found on GovWin IQ are automatically added to the opportunity, keeping your team up to speed with available details.

To use this feature, your company must have purchased the GovWin IQ Web services API. If you have questions about this feature, please connect with your TechnoMile Customer Success Manager (CSM).

Obtain the GovWin IQ Opportunity ID

Before you can link a GovWin opportunity to an Opportunity in your Growth Suite, you must first obtain the GovWin IQ Opportunity ID from the GovWin site. Typically, these are 5- or 6-digit numbers.

  1. Navigate to the GovWin site.

  2. Search for the desired Opportunity.

  3. Copy the GovWin IQ Opportunity ID. 

Link an Opportunity

  1. Navigate to the desired Opportunity Record in Growth.

  2. Click the Intelligence tab in the tab bar.

  3. Click to expand GovWin IQ Connector. 

  4. Enter the GovWin IQ Opportunity ID that you obtained from the GovWin site.

  5. Click Save.
    A new button will be displayed at the top of the screen.

  6. Click the Get GovWin IQ Data button.
    Data about the Opportunity will be delivered from GovWin IQ and displayed on the screen. 

Access Opportunity Documents from GovWin IQ

When an Opportunity has been linked, the system will also provide any documents associated with that Opportunity in GovWin IQ.

  1. On the Opportunity record, navigate to the Related List Quick Links.

  2. Click the Files link. 

  3. All filles associated with the Opportunity record will be displayed, including any documents from GovWin IQ.
