Overview

TechnoMile's Global Calendar allows you to view and edit various Events such as Call, Email, Meeting, etc. These Event Types are denoted by a set color for each object in Salesforce.

This document is a step-by-step guide on how you can use the Global Calendar feature for objects in your organization.

Audience

  • Growth Suite Users

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that Growth Module - TechnoMile Suite Sales Cloud Edition has already been installed and configured. The version of this package must be 7.16 or higher.

  • Keep a track of all your upcoming Events

  • Customize the visibility of all your Events by Month/Week/Day or even by List

  • Export Calendar data in Word, Excel, PDF, or PPT formats

Global Calendar

Calendar Views

  1. Open App Launcher, enter text Global Calendar in the search bar, and click Global Calendar in search results.

    Global Calendar opens, here you can view scheduled Events for different time periods:

    • Month-wise

    • Day-wise

List Views

  1. You can also view scheduled Events in the form of a list for a particular Month by clicking Month and then clicking List.

    mceclip1.pngSimilarly, you can view scheduled Events for a particular Week or Day in the form of a list by performing the same steps.

  2. Additionally, you can click an arrow icon to view the next or previous Day's Events.

Print Preview

  1. You can click the Print Preview button to view a preview of data on the Calendar and then click the Print button to print the same.

  2. Click Custom to customize the dates on the Print Preview page, as required.
    Set Date Range popup window opens.

  3. Select Start and End dates and click Proceed.

    NOTE

    End date MUST be less than a year from Start date.

Detail View

  1. Hover your cursor over an Event to view its details such as Event Title, Start Date, End Date, and related Object. DetailViewGlobalCalendar.jpg

View All Events

  1. To keep a track all the Events you have access to that are scheduled for a specific time period but may or may not be assigned to you, click the Show All checkbox.

Edit an Event

  1. To edit an Event, click the pencil icon against an Event.

  2. Edit fields as required and click Save.

Drag & Drop an Event

  1. You can drag & drop an Event from one Day to another on this Calendar, whenever you wish to modify the date of an Event in a particular Month.

View List of Events

  1. To view a list of the Events, click the plus icon.

    NOTE

    ONLY in cases where there are more than six Events on a particular day, the plus icon becomes visible.

  2. Click Close to close the list of Events.

Export Events

List View

  1. You can export Calendar data by clicking the Export button.

  2. You can export Events in List View or Calendar View from the Export Calendar popup window.

  3. Choose from any of the available formats such as Word, Excel, PDF, or PPT to export the data.

  4. Enter a date range by selecting Start and End Dates and click Export.

    NOTE

    End Date MUST be less than a year from Start Date.

    NOTE

    Similarly, you can choose to export Events in Excel, PDF, and PPT formats.

Calendar View

  1. Alternatively, you can choose Calendar View from the Export Calendar popup window.

  2. Enter a date range by selecting Start and End Dates and click Export.

    NOTE

    End Date MUST be less than a year from Start Date.
