TechnoMile Contracts Suite (on Microsoft Dynamics) – 2025.3 Release Notes

Prev Next

The 2025.3 release brings new efficiencies to management of CLINs/SLINs and clauses, delivers contract audit history improvements, and introduces enhancements to Transform Copilot that further streamline intaking and updating contracts.

Feature Enhancements

  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): CLIN/SLIN Management Enhancements
New views of related CLIN/SLIN data make it quicker and easier for users to track and understand the relationships between periods of performance, CLINs, and SLINs:
    • The POP page now includes a related CLIN/SLINs tab, providing easy visibility into all CLINs/SLINs associated with an individual period.
    • The CLIN/SLIN page now includes a related SLINs tab, making it easy to understand which SLINs are children of a parent CLIN.
  • CLM: Clause Management Improvements
This update includes clause management enhancements that save users time, including:
    • Users can now see the agency supplement name (AFARS, NMCARS, etc.) associated with contract clauses, making it quicker to identify and add clauses.
    • When reviewing Key Clauses, users now have the option to show or hide the archived versions, making it easier to select Needs Review – Yes/No based on the most current version of these clauses.
  • CLM: Internal POCs Replaced by Team Members
This release introduces contract Team Members as a replacement to Internal POCs, which gives clients more flexibility to capture all internal contacts and their role(s) associated with a contract and frees up several fields on the contract record. Each team member can be assigned a team role and/or an approval role (reviewer, signatory) or simply be designated as a stakeholder who requires visibility.
  • CLM: Contract Audit History Improvements
The Contract Audit History feature now captures a more comprehensive history of contract changes and makes it easier for users to quickly understand exactly what changed:
    • Contract Audit History now captures all changes made to a contract during its Draft phase leading up to first locking the record. These changes are captured as the Mod 0 history.
    • The Contract Audit History table now includes the Entity Logical Name, making it easier for users to understand which type of contract field was changed.
  • CLM: Contract Vehicle Enhancements
This update includes enhancements that improve visibility into the type of contract vehicle being managed and its total value:
    • The specific type of contract vehicle (e.g., GWAC, BPA, GSA Schedule, IDIQ, etc.) can now be tracked on a contract record, providing easy visibility for users.
    • Task order CLINs/SLINs now map to the parent IDIQ’s CLINs/SLINs, giving clients visibility into the total value of IDIQ contracts, including the obligated and funded value of all child task orders.
  • CLM: Streamlined Cloning for Child Contracts
Each client can now configure whether they want to exclude certain data from child records – such as POPs, CLIN/SLINs, Contract Clauses/Contract-Specific Clauses, and other custom fields – when a parent contract is being cloned to create a new child contract, streamlining the creation of child records by eliminating the need to manually remove unwanted data.
  • CLM: OCI Review Follow-up Reminders
CLM now supports follow-up reminders for Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) reviewers/approvers, helping to speed review cycles. A client’s admin can configure a follow-up period (in days), after which follow-up emails are automatically sent to any team members who have not yet responded to a review/approval request. Users can see when the last follow-up notification was sent to each team member and are able to manually send a follow-up reminder whenever desired.
  • CLM: New States/Territories Picklist
CLM now comes with an out-of-the-box picklist of U.S. states and territories, helping to ensure data accuracy and consistency when a user needs to designate the state on a contract record.
  • CLM: Closeout Help Text Added
Help text is now available to users when viewing or editing data in the Closeout tables within the CLM, improving the user experience and supporting the capture of quality, consistent data.
  • CLM: Working At-Risk Approval Recall
Working At-Risk Tracking, which provides a centralized, standardized way to track and report when a client is working at risk on any contracts, now includes the ability to recall an approval for an at-risk funding allocation.
  • Pre-Award Management: Proposal Review Follow-up Reminders
Pre-Award Management now supports follow-up reminders for proposal reviewers/approvers, helping to speed review cycles. A client’s admin can configure a follow-up period (in days), after which follow-up emails are automatically sent to any team members who have not yet responded to a review/approval request. Users can see when the last follow-up notification was sent to each team member and are able to manually send a follow-up reminder whenever desired.
  • Agreement Management: Agreement Review Follow-up Reminders
Agreement Management now supports follow-up reminders for agreement reviewers/approvers, helping to speed review cycles. A client’s admin can configure a follow-up period (in days), after which follow-up emails are automatically sent to any team members who have not yet responded to a review/approval request. Users can see when the last follow-up notification was sent to each team member and are able to manually send a follow-up reminder whenever desired.
  • Transform Copilot: Update Contract Skip Step(s) Enhancement
Now, when updating a contract record using Transform Copilot, users have the option to skip the ingestion of extracted Period of Performance (POP), CLIN/SLIN, and/or Clauses data as they move through the data validation wizard. This gives clients the flexibility to use Transform Copilot to speed the intake of additional contract details on records where some contract information has already been populated.
  • Transform Copilot: AI-Powered Contract Summary Includes Key Clauses
This release adds a client’s Key Clauses to the AI-powered contract summary that’s generated after creating or updating a contract record using Transform Copilot and moving it out of draft status. Now, the Clauses tab of the summary displays a table listing any of the client’s Key Clauses found within the ingested contract, including earlier revisions, followed by a table summarizing other standard and/or non-standard clauses found within the award document. This makes it fast and easy for approvers and stakeholders to understand whether any of the clauses that matter most to your organization are contained in a new contract award, whether any non-standard clauses exist in the document, and the associated risks.
  • Transform Copilot: New Clause Sorting Option in CLM
When a contract record is created using Transform Copilot, users now have two sorting options from which to choose when viewing contract clauses and contract-specific clauses: 1) By default, clauses will be displayed in the Transform Copilot Document order, which mimics the order in which the clauses were organized and ingested using the Transform Copilot wizard. 2) The user can also toggle to sort by Clause Library, which will display the clauses in the order in which they appear in the client’s clause library.
  • Transform Copilot: OF347 Address Display Improvements
When ingesting an OF347 – Order for Supplies or Services form and validating the data, the wizard’s display of address data now mirrors the experience of all other forms, with name, street address, city, state, and zip appearing in a single field (rather than in multiple individual fields). This ensures a consistent data validation experience across all form types when using Transform Copilot, improving usability.

    Issues Resolved

    • CLM: A user with Read-Only access can lock/unlock a contract record.
    • CLM: Key Clauses marked as No are moving to Needs Review instead of moving to No.
    • CLM: Key Clauses that are unchecked from the No section are being added as Contract Clauses.
    • CLM: When a user clicks on the Save button multiple times, duplicate records are being created for Contract Clauses.
    • CLM: In the Removed Clauses section for Clauses, when Clauses Added and Clauses Removed are in different mods, the user is able to delete the clauses from the Key Clause Yes section.
    • Transform Copilot: On the CLIN/SLIN page of the wizard, the Exercised toggle was disabled when no funding amount existed.
