Overview
TechnoMile’s CPARs feature enables you to upload and extract all the information present in a CPARs PDF file. It also has an Review and Approval process.
This document is a step-by-step guide on how you can configure the CPARs feature in your organization.

Prerequisites
Ensure that Contracts Suite - Sales Cloud Edition is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2025.3 or higher.
Assign Permission Set
Go to Permission Sets using Setup search.
Click Assign.
Permission Set is assigned to the selected User.
Configure Custom Metadata Types
Go to Custom Metadata Types using Setup search.
Click Manage Records against OCR Details.

Here, you can either click Edit against an existing OCR Details record or click New to create a new OCR Details record.

Enter Callback URL, Client Id, OCR Remote Site URL, Username, Password, Auth Endpoint, and Client Secret and click Save.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that you retrieve all the above listed OCR Details from TechnoMile Support.

Similarly, click Manage Records against OCR Form Type.

Click New to create a Form Type.

Enter Label, OCR Form Type Name, and Form Label and Form Value as cpars, select OCR Details as OCR Details, and click Save.
CPARs metadata is created.
Edit Remote Site Settings
Go to Remote Site Settings using Setup search.
Click Edit against OCR_Azure_Services.
Enter Remote Site URL, ensure that the Active checkbox is selected, and click Save.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that you retrieve the Remote Site URL from TechnoMile Support.

Configure Trusted URLs
Go to Trusted URLs using Setup search.
Click New Trusted URL.

Enter API Name and URL, select the Active and all the CSP Directives checkboxes, and click Save.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that you retrieve the URL from TechnoMile Support.

Trusted URL is created.
Configure Custom Settings
Deactivate GRC Triggers
NOTE
Perform these steps ONLY if you do not wish to use the CPARs Triggers that are available in this package, by default.
Go to Custom Settings using Setup search.
Click Manage against GRC Trigger.

Click New.

Enter Name as TM_CPAR_UpdateTrigger, select the Deactivate checkbox, and click Save.

Similarly, create another Trigger to deactivate it with Name as TM_CPAR_TeamMemberTrigger.
Our Contract Record Page
Go to Our Contracts using App Launcher.

Open an Our Contract record.

Under Related List Quick Links, click CPAR.
The Import CPARs button is available. 
Edit CPAR Record Page
Go to a CPAR record page using App Launcher.
Click the gear icon and select Edit Page.
Lightning App Builder opens.Drag-and-drop TM_CPAR_ReviewForm onto the Workflow Summary tab and click Save.

Click Assign as Org Default.

Choose Desktop and click Next.

Click Save.
Using Filters for Submit for Approval Button
Click Submit for Approval and then click Record > Status Equal Review Completed.

Select Value as Draft and click Done.

Click Done again.

Click Save.
Click the Back arrow icon.
CPAR record page opens with the Workflow Summary tab and Submit for Approval button on it.
Permission Sets for CPAR Field Updates
The following Permission Sets have been updated to include the necessary permissions for the CPARs field updates:

Add Picklist Values
Picklist values are not auto-upgraded. Add the Addendum value to the Evaluation Type picklist.
To add a picklist value:
In your Salesforce organization, click the gear icon
and select Setup.Navigate to Object Manager > CPAR > Fields & Relationships.
Use the search box to locate and open the field label Evaluation Type.

Scroll down to the Values section and click New.
The Evaluation Type page opens.Enter Addendum in the text area and click Save.
The new picklist value is added.
Configure CPAR Page Layout
Add New Fields
To add new fields:
In your Salesforce organization, click the gear icon
and select Setup.Navigate to Object Manager > CPAR > Page Layouts > CPAR Layout.
Drag-and-drop Workflow Type and CPAR Issue Date fields into the Information section.

Hover over the added Workflow Type field and click the Properties icon.

In the Field Properties window, enable the Required checkbox and click OK.

Similarly, hover over the CPAR Issue Date field and click its Properties icon.
In the Field Properties window, enable the Required checkbox and click OK.
Scroll down to the Contract Details section, hover over the Evaluation Type field and click its Properties icon.
In the Field Properties window, enable the Required checkbox and click OK.
Enable CPAR Self-Eval Notification
The CPAR Self-Eval Notification feature allows you to control whether a user receives email notifications related to CPAR self-evaluations. To enable this feature, navigate to the Contract Suite Configure page and enable the CPAR Self-Eval Notification checkbox, shown in the image below.

Configure CPAR Record Page
To generate the self evaluation form add a button on the CPAR record page.
Add a Generate Self-Eval Form Button
To add a generate self-eval form button to CPAR record page:
In your Salesforce organization, open App Launcher
.Use the search field to find and open CPAR.
Select a CPAR record to which you want to add a generate self-eval form button.
Click the gear icon
and select Edit Page.
Lightning App Builder page appears.In the Lightning App Builder, select the highlights panel and click Add Action.
The add actions dialog appears.
In the add actions dialog, perform the following steps:
In the Actions filed, select Generate Self-Eval Form.
Click Add Filter.
Add a filter to ensure the button is visible only when the record's status is Review Completed.
Specify the filter criteria as below:Filter Type: Record Field
Field: Status
Operator: Equal
Value: Review Completed

Click Done.
Configure CPAR Flows
This section outlines the steps involved in scheduling and activating CPAR Flows.
The following CPAR Flows can be scheduled based on user requirements:
CPAR Deadline reminder to CM and Reviewers (Scheduled)
CPAR Self-Eval form creation reminder to CM (Scheduled)
The following Flows must be activated:
Update POP Owner on change of internal POC
Update CPAR Owner on change of internal POC
Update POP owner on change of internal POC
Update CPAR owner on change of internal POC
Schedule Flows
To schedule Flows:
In your Salesforce organization, click the gear icon
and select Setup.Use the Quick Find box to search and open Flows.
In the Setup Flows page, find and open the flow you wish to schedule.
Flow Builder page appears.Click Edit.

Under Set a Schedule, set the Start Date, Start Time, and Frequency as required.
Click Save As New Version.
A Save As dialog appears.Specify the details and click Save.
Click Activate.
Activate Flows
To activate Flows:
In your Salesforce organization, click the gear icon
and select Setup.Use the Quick Find box to search and open Flows.
In the Setup Flows page, find and open the flow you wish to activate.
Flow Builder page appears.Click Activate.
NOTE
If the Activate button is disabled, click Save As New Version to enable it.
Clone Flow
IMPORTANT NOTE
The steps in this topic and the next that are related to a cloned flow are to be performed only if you wish to customize the email templates within the TM_ConfigureDynamicTemplate out-of-the-box flow. You can choose to customize either or both of the following two email templates:
CPAR Review Form Email notification that is triggered after clicking the Send for Review button present on a CPAR record page. This will send the CPAR for review to the selected Reviewers.
CPAR Approval Process Submit Template notification that is triggered after clicking the Submit for Approval button present on a CPAR record page. This will send the CPAR for approval to the selected Approvers.
Open the TM_ConfigureDynamicTemplate flow.
Click Save As New Version and select Save As New Flow.

Enter Flow Label and Flow API Name and click Save.
Cloned flow is created.Click Activate.
Cloned flow is activated.Scroll down to a CPAR-related Email Template within the flow and click to open it.

Scroll down to Body of the template and select View as Plain Text.
You can also edit the Body of the template here, if required.
Click Save.

Configure Cloned Flow API Name in CPARS Email Setting
Click the gear icon in the tool bar of the cloned flow.

Copy the Flow API Name field value after text TM_TOMA__.

Go to ICI Configuration Page using App Launcher.
Scroll down to CPARS Email Setting and click its gear icon.

Paste the previously copied Flow API Name into the Flow Name field and click Save.
Note that after clicking Save, Flow Status is automatically updated to Active.
Configure CPAR on Formstack Documents
Prerequisite
Ensure you have Formstack Documents installed.
Downloading CPAR Templates
Before configuring CPAR on Formstack Documents, ensure you download the required templates.
To download CPAR templates:
In your Salesforce organization, click the View profile icon and select Switch to Salesforce Classic.
Find and open the Documents tab.
Select the Folder as FedTom Custom Setting Doc and click Go!

Click View to download the following templates:
CPAR Self-Eval Form VF (text file)
CPAR Self-Eval Form Template Mapping Export (text file)
CPAR Self-Eval Form Template (word file)

Click Switch to Lightening Experience.
Add a CPAR Object
The following procedure summarizes the steps to be followed to add a CPAR object. For detailed information, see Download and Add Templates.
To add a CPAR Object:
In Formstack Documents, go to the Formstack Settings tab.
Click Add a New Object.
Enter the Salesforce Object Name as CPAR and click Save.
Upload CPAR Template
To add a Formstack Document:
In Formstack Documents, go to the Formstack Documents tab.
Click New Document.
Enter the Document Name as CPAR Self-Eval Form Template and click Next.
Select Upload File.
Browse and upload the CPAR Self-Eval Form Template (word file) downloaded during Download CPAR Templates.
Map CPAR Template
The following procedure summarizes the steps to be followed to map CPAR template. For detailed information, see Customize Formstack Mappings.
To map the Formstack Document:
In Formstack Documents, go to the Formstack Mapping tab.
Click New Mapping.
Enter a Mapping Name.
Select the Salesforce Object as CPAR.
Select a Formstack Resource as Document.
Under Select a Document, select the CPAR Self-Eval Form Template added in the previous step.
Click Save and Next.
A mapping file with a unique Mapping ID is created.Reopen the mapping file, under Optional Settings enable the Save Document in Files option.
Under Field Mapping, scroll down and click Import.
An Insert JSON text box appears.Open the CPAR Self-Eval Form Template Mapping Export (text file) downloaded during Download CPAR Templates and copy-paste the information in the Insert JSON text box.
Click Save.
The Field Mapping details are auto populated.
Configure Visualforce Page
Create a Visualforce Page
To add a new Visualforce Page:
In your Salesforce organization, click the gear icon
and select Setup.Use the Quick Find box to search and open Visualforce Pages.
Click New.

Enter the Name as webmergeCPARSelfEvaluationForm.
Open the CPAR Self-Eval Form VF (text file) downloaded during Download CPAR Templates and copy-paste the information in the Visualforce Markup text box.
Click Save.
Update Custom Settings
To add the new Visualforce page name to Custom Settings:
In your Salesforce organization, click the gear icon
and select Setup.Use the Quick Find box to search and open Custom Settings.
Find and open TM Formstack Setting.
Click Manage > Edit.
In the CPAR Self Evaluation VF Page Name field, enter the name webmergeCPARSelfEvaluationForm given to the Visualforce Page created in the previous step.

Click Save.
