Overview
Administrators can configure and add Related List tables onto a selected object using the Admin Related List Layout page. Related Lists can be added for any object and can display a combination of its fields up to 10 fields.
Related Lists enable you to quickly add related records in a tabular format instead of one by one. You can also perform inline editing in Related Lists.
Create a Related List
Step 1. Open App Launcher.

Step 2. Enter text Admin Related List Layout in the search bar and click Admin Related List Layout in search results.

Step 3. Select an Object for which you want to create a Related List and click Go.

Step 4. Click Add Related List.

Step 5. Select an Object that you want to relate with your previously selected Contract Vehicle object.
Step 6. Select Field(s) of the object that you want to display in the Related List and move it from Available to Selected using the right arrow button.

You can rearrange the order of fields as per your requirements using the arrows highlighted in the image below.

You can also select Button(s) that you want to display in the Related List and move it from Available to Selected using the right arrow button.
Step 7. Select the Number of rows of records that you want to display in the Related List and click Add Related List.

Customer Contacts Related List is created for the Contract Vehicle object.
You can also edit or delete this Related List by clicking its respective gear icon for editing Related List details and delete icon for deleting a Related List, as highlighted in the image below.

Step 8. Go to Contract Vehicles using App Launcher and click to open a Contract Vehicle record.

Contract Vehicle record page opens.
Step 9. Click the gear icon and select Edit Page.

Lightning App Builder opens.
Step 10. Go to the Related tab, scroll down, and drag & drop TM_DynamicRelatedList onto this tab.

IMPORTANT
To ensure that the View All button of a Related List is functional on your Contract Vehicle record page, you MUST also add the Related List to the Contract Vehicle page using the Salesforce Classic interface. This is applicable for all objects to which you have added a Related List.
Step 11. Click Save and then click Activation…

Step 12. Click Assign as Org Default.

Step 13. Choose Desktop and click Next.

Step 14. Click Save.

FedCLM Contract Vehicle Detail page is assigned as Org Default.
Step 15. Click Back.

Using Related Lists
Contract Vehicle record page opens.
Step 16. Go to its Related tab and note that the Customer Contacts Related List is now visible on this tab.
Step 17. Click Add to create and add Customer Contact records that will be linked to this Contract Vehicle.

Step 18. Enter data in all required* fields for Customer Contact record creation and click Save.

Customer Contact record is created and added to this Contract Vehicle. Note that the Email and Phone fields are auto-populated from the related Contact record, once Save is clicked.

Step 19. Similarly, you can add other Customer Contact records to this Contract Vehicle.

You can also edit or delete the added Customer Contact records by clicking its respective pencil icon for editing record details and delete icon for deleting a record, as highlighted in the image below.
You can also click View All to view other added Customer Contact records.

Similarly, you can perform the same steps as shown in this document to add and use a Related List on any object in the system.
