Overview
Revenue Projection enables administrators to define how projected revenue is calculated for opportunities by using configurable formulas. The configuration supports both factored and unfactored revenue calculations and allows formulas to vary by group.
The feature uses a configurable formula engine in which revenue values are derived from selectable fields such as Total Contract Value, Probability, Period of Performance, and other numeric fields.
Once configured, Revenue Projections are split across contract years and quarters based on the contract duration and start date. The system supports both automatic recalculation and manual override behavior.

Prerequisites
Ensure that TechnoMile Growth Suite is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2026.1 or higher.
Configuring Revenue Projection Formulas
You can configure formulas by using financial fields to control how revenue projections are calculated and applied across opportunities.
Login to your Microsoft Dynamics instance and go to the TechnoMile Growth App.
Go to Change area, and then select Growth Configurations.
Click RP Formula Configuration.
Select the required Group.
Select the Revenue Type, and then choose Factored Revenue or Unfactored Revenue.
The existing formula, if available, appears.
To create a new formula, click Select Field, and then choose a value from the list.
To create your own field, see Creating Field Names.
Click Select Operator to build the formula.
Click Select Field again to choose a value and complete the formula.
Click Save Configuration.
To configure the unfactored revenue formula, select the Revenue Type as Unfactored Revenue, and repeat steps 6 to 8.
NOTE
You can configure a separate formula for each group.
Creating Field Names
You can create and add field names to use in the formula.
Click the gear icon and select Advanced Settings.
In the Business Settings page, click the funnel icon to access Advanced Find.
In the search box, search for Revenue Projection Formulas, and then click Continue.

Click New.
Enter the Field Name and Logical Name, and then click Save & Close.
The new field is added.
NOTE
You can also delete a field if you no longer need it.
Creating Formulas
You can create and save predefined formulas that are unique to each group and revenue type.
Click the gear icon and select Advanced Settings.
In the Business Settings page, click the funnel icon to access Advanced Find.
In the search box, search for Revenue Projection Configuration, and then click Continue.
Click New.
Enter all the details and click Save & Close.
