Map Task Order to Opportunity Fields

Overview

This document is a step-by-step guide that helps you map and create Opportunities from Task Orders in TechnoMile's Growth Suite App.

Audience

• Microsoft Dynamics Administrators

Prerequisites

• Version number TOM 1.2 of the Microsoft Dynamics Growth Suite App must be installed and configured on your instance.

Map Task Order to Opportunity

1. Login to your Microsoft Dynamics instance.

2. Go to TechnoMile Growth App.

3. Click Growth Configurations under the Change area section. 

4. Click Mapping Screen. 

5. Select Task Order To Opportunity in the drop-down and click add. Task Order To Opportunity Mapping page opens.

6. Click Add Field. Add Field popup window opens.

7. Enter required* details such as Task Order and Opportunity - Field Labels and click Add.

   Note

   Task Order Field API Name and Opportunity Field Api fields are auto-populated. 

   Task Order is added to list of Task Order To Opportunity Mapping.

8. Here, you can also Edit and Delete a Task Order record mapping by clicking the pencil and delete icons, respectively. 

9. Go back to Growth under the Change area section.

10. Click Task Orders. 
    

11. Click to open a Task Order record.
    

12. Click Create Opportunity.
    Create Opportunity popup window opens.

13. Enter required* details and click Save.

    Note

    The fields that were already populated in the Task Order record are mapped to and auto-populated in the newly created Opportunity Record.

    

14. The following message displays, click OK.
    Opportunity is created.
    

    Note

    If you click Create Opportunity again, the following Notification message will display.
