Overview

TechnoMile's Product Suite is natively built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, transforming the most advanced CRM into a Product Suite ready platform. The Suite enables you to manage your Employee records by syncing data from Azure Entra ID into the Employee records on your instance. It also lets you customize and schedule the workflow for this sync.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that TechnoMile's Baseline Package is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2025.3 or higher.

  • Ensure that you have Office 365 permissions and Entra ID sync access.

Sync Entra ID User Data with Employee Records in Microsoft Dynamics

IMPORTANT

The current solution includes an existing Power Automate Flow named Entra ID Sync With Employee Entity. However, this flow is to be deprecated in future releases. A new Graph-based Power Automate Flow named Entra ID Sync with Employee for Using Graph, has now been introduced to perform Entra ID synchronization leveraging Microsoft Graph. Ensure that ONLY one Power Automate Flow is active at any given time, as both flows provide the same functionality. Running both simultaneously may result in conflicts or redundant operations.

  1. Login to your Microsoft Dynamics instance.

  2. Open App Launcher and click Power Apps.

  3. Go to Solutions and open TechnoMile Baseline Package.

  4. Go to Cloud flows and click Entra ID Sync with Employee for Using Graph.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. To customize the schedule for running the Cloud flow, expand Recurrence and click Edit.

  7. Enter data into the Interval, Frequency, Time zone, Starttime, and other fields, and click Save.

  8. Click Run.

View Synced Employee Data

  1. Once the Entra ID Sync with Employee for Using Graph Cloud flow has run successfully, go to an Employee record and verify that the Employee data from Entra ID is synced into the record on your instance.
