Add Fields to a Page Layout

Introduction

WinIt is a streamlined version of the Growth application designed specifically for small businesses and individual business owners. This compact tool provides essential features for managing Growth Opportunities, helping you streamline your sales process and boost growth without the overhead of the full-scale application.

This guide will walk you through adding a field to the Growth Opportunity Page Layout in the WinIt application, the field should already have been added into the system before you add it to the page layout. If the field does not exist, you will need to first create the field before using this guide.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that WinIt on Growth Suite - Platform Edition is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2025.1 or higher.

Add a Field to a Growth Opportunity Page Layout

1. Login to the WinIt application.

2. Open a Growth Opportunity Record from the default Company Opportunities tab. Growth Opportunity Details page opens. 

3. Click the gear icon and select Edit Page. Lightning App Builder opens.
   

4. Go to the Fields tab and search for the field that you want to add to the page layout.
   

5. Drag-and-drop the field to the desired section on the page layout and click Save.
   A popup window opens.

6. Click Activate.

   NOTE:

   Activation is only required if the default Lightning Page has not been modified. If you click Save and the following window does not display, you need not perform the remaining Activation steps.

   

7. Click Assign as Org Default.
   

8. Choose Desktop and click Next.
   

9. Click Save.
   

10. Click the Back arrow icon.
    Growth Opportunity Details page opens with the field added to the page layout.
