Overview
Tabs/Navigation Items display its related Object’s data. This document explains how to add, rearrange, and delete a Custom Tab from the Navigation bar in Salesforce.
To understand how Tabs can be configured on the Navigation bar, go to any TechnoMile App for example, FedCapture.
Open an App
Step 1. Open App Launcher.
Step 2. Enter text fedcapture in the search bar and click FedCapture in search results.
Page displays FedCapture Home page.
Add Objects as Tabs
Step 3. Click the pencil icon.
Step 4. Click Add More Items.
Step 5. Click All, select Object(s), and click Add Nav Item(s).

Note: You can also use the search bar to find an Object under the Add Items list. |
Page displays your added Objects as Navigation Items.
Rearrange a Navigation Item
Step 1. Drag & drop a Navigation Item to a desired position.
Navigation Item is rearranged.
Step 2. Click Save.
Delete a Navigation Item
Step 1. Click the cross icon and click Save.
Navigation Item will be deleted.
Page displays your added Objects as Tabs.
Step 6. Click your added Tab.
Page displays Chatter Tab data.
Step 7. Click More to view other Tabs added to the Navigation bar.
