Customizing Type Field Labels for Objects

IMPORTANT

The steps in this section for creating a new Type are to be performed only if you have added a custom label for the Account look up field on the Our Contract, Subcontract, or Proposal objects.

  1. Go to Contract Site Object Manager, then go to Fields & Relationships, and open the Type field.

  2. Scroll down to Values and click New.

    IMPORTANT

While adding a new label for the Type field, ensure that the label you add is an existing Account look up field on the Our Contract object, so as to be able to use it as part of the Contract Sites feature.

  3. Specify a label that is an exact match to the label of your existing Account look up field on the Our Contract object and click Save.
The Type field label is created.

  4. Similarly, go to Proposal Site Object Manager and add a label for its Type field.

    IMPORTANT

While adding a new label for the Type field here, ensure that the label you add is an existing Account look up field on the Proposal object, so as to be able to use it as part of the Proposal Sites feature.
