Overview
DoDAAC (Department of Defense Activity Address Code) and Site Tracking feature on Salesforce enables an Account owner/manager to track individual DoDAACs and Sites of an Account and add new addresses to a specific Account. This feature is also available on Our Contracts, Subcontracts, and Proposals.
This document is a step-by-step guide on how you can use the DoDAAC and Site Tracking feature in your organization.

DoDAAC and Site Tracking on Accounts
Navigate to an Account record page using App Launcher.

Go to the Related tab.

Scroll down to the Sites section and click New.

Specify details and click Save.

The Site record is created.
Notes:The Account field is auto-populated however, you can edit this field.
Fields marked by the red asterisk (*) sign are mandatory.
Open a Site record.
The Details tab of the Site record displays. You can view all the information related to the Site record here. 
DoDAAC and Site Tracking on Our Contracts
Go to Our Contracts using App Launcher.

Click New.

In the Select a Record Type field, choose IDIQ and click Next.

Specify all the mandatory details and go to CLIENT & PRIME INFO.

NOTE
Fields marked by the red asterisk (*) sign are mandatory.
Specify details such as Primary Organization Name and Contracting Organization and click Save As Draft.
The IDIQ Contract record is created.Go back to CLIENT & PRIME INFO.

Scroll down to the Contract Sites section. By default, two Contract Site records are created here: one for the Account value in the Primary Organization field and another for the Contracting Organization field.
NOTE
You can create new types of Contract Site records, but the new type must be a populated lookup field on the object. If the field is not populated or the lookup does not exist, an error is displayed. To create a new type, click New Type, select the desired Contract Site types under Select Types, and then click Proceed.


Specify Site associated with the Account record (in this case, Defense Information Systems Agency) and click Save.
The Contract Site is added.
Notes:The CAGE/DOCAAC, Classification, and Address fields get auto-populated from the Site record.

You can add multiple Contract Site records for an Account by clicking the add icon, specifying another Site field value, and clicking Save.


You can also delete a Contract Site record by clicking the delete icon and then clicking OK.

However, you can not delete the last Contract Site record associated with an Account. In this case, the following error will display.
DoDAAC and Site Tracking on Subcontracts
Go to Subcontracts using App Launcher.

Click New.

In the Select a record type field, choose IDIQ and click Next.

Specify Subcontractor Name, Parent Contract Name, and all other mandatory details and click Save As Draft.

NOTE
Fields marked by the red asterisk (*) sign are mandatory.
The IDIQ Subcontract record is created.
Go to Subcontractor Sites.

NOTE
By default, three Subcontract Site records are created here: two for the Account values in the Primary Organization and Contracting Organization fields of the Contract record associated with the Parent Contract Name field and one for the Account associated with the Subcontractor Name field of the Subcontract record.

Similarly, you can perform step 8 as shown in the DoDAAC Site and Tracking on Our Contracts section.
DoDAAC and Site Tracking on Proposals
Go to Proposals using App Launcher.

Click New.

Specify Customer and all other mandatory details and click Save.

NOTE
Fields marked by the red asterisk (*) sign are mandatory.
The Proposal record is created.
Go to Proposal Site. Note that by default, a Proposal Site record is created for the Account value in the Customer field of the Proposal record.

Similarly, you can perform step 8 as shown in the DoDAAC Site and Tracking on Our Contracts section.
IMPORTANT
When a Proposal is approved and the Solicitation Status is either Negotiate or Closed Won, you can click the Create Contract button to generate a Contract. The Proposal Site records are, then, transferred to the Contract as Contract Site records.
