Overview
The Spark Conversion Admin panel enables you to map the fields of a Main Object and Related Objects of your choice to their corresponding Sparks and other object fields.
This document walks you through the steps of customizing the Spark Conversion Admin panel for any object such as Opportunity.

Prerequisites
Ensure that Growth Suite - Sales Cloud or Platform Edition is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2025.3 or higher.
Note that TechnoMile provides the following two Permission Sets - Spark Conversion Admin and Spark Conversion User with this feature however, if you are mapping to fields that are not part of the TechnoMile package, users will then need to be granted permission to those fields separately.
Customizing Spark Conversion Admin Panel
IMPORTANT
This document pertains to the Sales Cloud Edition of TechnoMile's Growth Suite product and hence includes steps for Opportunity as its primary object. How ever, you can follow the same steps for Growth Opportunity that is the primary object for the Platform Edition of TechnoMile's Growth Suite product.
Configuring Global Settings
Go to Spark Conversion Admin using App Launcher.

Click Setting.

Here, you can turn the toggles on for Account Creation, Contact Creation, and/or Document Import to enable these actions to automatically occur while creating an Opportunity from a Spark and then click Save Changes.

You can also turn the toggle on for Auto Create Opportunities and then choose All Sparks to enable automatic creation of Opportunities for all Sparks.
Click Save Changes.

Alternatively, after turning the toggle on for Auto Create Opportunities, you can choose Sparks that meet a certain criteria to enable automatic creation of Opportunities for Sparks that meet your specified filter criteria.
Select Field, Operator, and Value to specify a filter criteria.
Select Condition as AND/OR to specify if either or all of your filter criteria are to be met for automatic creation of Opportunities for Sparks.
Click Save Changes.
Notes:
You can click the plus or trash icon at any time to add or delete a filter criteria.
Automatic creation of Opportunities for Sparks in either Creation Mode occurs based on specified Object configurations and related Field Mappings.

Configuring Main and Related Objects
Under Main Objects, click Configure Object.

Select an Object Name and click Save Changes.

Under Related Objects, click Configure Object against Team Member.

Select an Object Name, Relationship Name, and User Relationship Name and click Save Changes.

Similarly, you can configure objects for other Related Objects such as GS Individual, GS Vendor, etc.
You can also turn the toggles on for Enabled against each configured Related Object. Enabled Objects will display when creating a new Opportunity from the Spark. Disabled objects will not display.

Configuring Fixed and Additional Field Mappings for Main Object
Under Fixed Fields, click the pencil icon against a field.
Notes:If you have selected Opportunity or Growth Opportunity as your Main Object, then a list of Fixed Fields will display automatically. However, if you select any other object as your Main Object, then you will be required to create your own set of Fixed Fields by performing the steps mentioned in this section.
Fixed Fields for the Opportunity or Growth Opportunity object cannot be edited or deleted.

Select Spark Field Label and click Update.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that the fields you are mapping with each other are of the same field/data type such as both must be lookup, date-time, text, etc.

Similarly, you can map all other Fixed Fields and click Save.
You can also click the pencil icon at any time to edit a Spark field mapping for a fixed Opportunity field.

Under Additional Fields, click Add Field Mapping.

Select Spark and Opportunity Field Labels that are to be mapped with each other and click Add.
Here, you can also select the Is Required checkbox to make an Opportunity field mandatory.
Spark and Opportunity fields are mapped.Similarly, you can map other Spark fields to their corresponding Opportunity fields.
Scroll up and click Save.

You can also click the pencil or trash icon at any time to edit or delete an additional field mapping.

Configuring Additional Field Mappings for Related Objects
NOTE
The Opportunity Team Member object does not allow for addition of any field mappings.
Under Related Objects, click Add Field Mapping for an object such as GS Individual.

Select GS Individual and Opportunity Contact Role Field Labels that are to be mapped with each other and click Add.
Here, you also select the Is Required checkbox to make an Opportunity Contact Role field mandatory.
GS Individual and Opportunity Contact Role fields are mapped.Similarly, you can map other Related Object fields and click Save.
Here, you can also click the pencil or trash icon at any time to edit or delete an additional field mapping.
Rearranging Field Mappings for Main and Related Objects
Click Rearrange.


Drag-and-drop a field to rearrange it and click Ok.
Fields are rearranged.
Similarly, you can rearrange field mappings for all objects that are added to this panel.
Configuring Custom Settings for Fixed Fields of Main Object
Click the gear icon and select Setup.

Go to Custom Settings using Setup search.

Click Manage against Spark Conversion Mapping.

Here, you can replace the below highlighted Fixed Fields by clicking New and creating your own set of Fixed Fields, as per the Main Object you have configured.

Configuring Picklist Values for Opportunity Team Member Related Object
Go to Object Manger.

Go to Opportunity Team Member in Object Manger.

Go to Fields & Relationships and open the Team Role field.

Scroll down to Team Role Picklist Values and click New.

Enter text as Capture Manager and Opportunity Owner in separate lines and click Save.
Team Role Picklist Values are created.
Editing Spark Layout
IMPORTANT
You will be required to perform the steps listed in this section, only if you do not already have the Convert Spark button present on the Spark record page.
Go to Spark Object Manger with API Name as TM_Analytics__Spark__c.

Go to Page Layouts and open Spark Layout.

Go to Mobile & Lightning Actions, drag-and-drop the Convert Spark button into the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section, and click Save.
Here, ensure that you also remove the Create/Link Opportunity button from the same section, if present in it.
Button is added to Spark Layout.Go to Sparks using App Launcher.
Open a Spark record.
Spark record page opens with the Convert Spark button on it.
