Using Opportunity Quick Create Wizard

Overview

TechnoMile's Growth Suite integrates with Deltek GovWin IQ, enabling you to create Opportunities directly from GovWin IQ records using the Opportunity Quick Create Wizard. The wizard provides a customizable, simplified page layout focused on key fields from GovWin IQ data to automatically link Agency, Competitor, and Contact information to your Opportunity. You can create Accounts, Competitors, and Contacts while creating your Opportunity in a single workflow, instead of needing to maintain multiple tabs or handle confusing navigation.

Alternatively, you can link an Opportunity in Growth with its related record in GovWin IQ. Once the Opportunity is linked, you can view snapshots, timelines, descriptions, Contact details, and any documents in GovWin IQ, from the Opportunity record. Each Opportunity remains linked, enabling new documents found on GovWin IQ to be automatically added to the Opportunity, thereby keeping your team up to speed with available details.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that TechnoMile’s Growth Suite is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2026.1 or higher.

• Ensure that your company has already purchased the GovWin IQ Web Services API. If you have any questions, connect with your TechnoMile Customer Success Manager (CSM).

Create an Opportunity from GovWin IQ

1. Login to your TechnoMile Growth application on Microsoft Dynamics.

2. Go to Opportunities and click Quick Create.
   The Opportunity Quick Create Wizard opens.

3. Choose Create from either GovWin IQ or SAM, select a Group such as Regular, and click Proceed.
   

4. Specify the GovWin Opportunity ID or Solicitation ID from SAM, select Choose Data Source as GovWin IQ, and click Proceed.
   Important details of the GovWin Opportunity record based on the specified GovWin Opportunity ID are displayed.

5. Verify the GovWin Opportunity record details and click Proceed.
   

6. Select the Contacts and Competitors that you want to add and click Proceed.
   An Opportunity record with the same name as the GovWin Opportunity record is created.

7. Click Navigate To Newly Created Opportunity.
   The Opportunity record created from GovWin IQ is displayed.
   

Link an Existing Opportunity to its Corresponding GovWin IQ Record

1. Go to Opportunities and open an Opportunity record that you want to link to a GovWin IQ record.
   

2. Go to the GovWin tab.
   

3. Click the pencil icon to edit.
   

4. Specify a GovWin Opportunity ID, select GovWin Opportunity Type as GovWin IQ, and click the save icon.
   

5. Click Ok on the Success message.
   The system retrieves the GovWin IQ data, and the Opportunity record fields are updated with the GovWin IQ information. GovWin IQ data is also automatically populated on all the other tabs, such as Contracts, Competition, Contacts, Gov Entities, Milestones, Documents, and Updates, based on the previously entered GovWin Opportunity ID.
