This guide provides step-by-step instructions on leveraging TechnoMile’s Transform Copilot feature to ingest Amendment documents, extract key Amendment details, and generate a summary of changes.
Post ingestion, you can view the summarized changes on a dedicated screen within the CRM, ensuring easy access and efficient Solicitation Amendment management.

Prerequisites
Ensure that TechnoMile's Contracts Suite is already installed and configured. The version of this package must be 2026.1 or higher.
Using the Ingest Amendment (TC) Button
The Ingest Amendment (TC) option allows you to efficiently ingest Amendment details using the Transform Copilot extracted data.
To ingest an Amendment:
In Microsoft Dynamics instance, go to Solicitations.
Open the solicitation record to which you want to ingest the amendment.
Click Ingest Amendment (TC).
Drag-and-drop an Amendment document (PDF file) into the File Upload window, or click Select Files to select a document.
Click Submit.
A confirmation message appears.
An email confirmation is sent to the user, indicating that the ingest process has started.
You will receive another email once the extraction and validation process is completed. Click the Review button in the email to view the extracted details.
You can also access this page by navigating to the Transform Copilot Jobs tab and clicking Open Wizard.
Once a document is successfully processed, the Status displays as Finished. Newly ingested Amendment records are displayed with the Job Type set to Preaward Mod.
Review and Create an Amendment
Transform Copilot initiates an AI-driven extraction process once you upload the Amendment. Follow the steps mentioned below to review and validate the extracted data:
Click the Review button in the email.
The Solicitation Details page opens. The document displays on the left, while the extracted data fields display on the right.Review and update the extracted data as required.
The Amendment details consist of several key components for Amendment review and validation:On the left panel, the document preview displays the document being processed, with AI-extracted fields highlighted in different colors.
You can zoom, reset zoom, navigate to the first and last pages, jump to a specific page by entering its number, or open the PDF for a full view.
On the right panel, the Fields Extracted and Fields Modified indicate the total number of fields identified by AI and how many fields have changed based on AI extraction, respectively.
Click the back arrow (
) to expand the right panel to full view.
The Extension field indicates whether a due date has been updated. If the due date has been extended, the checkbox will be toggled On. If the due date has not been changed, the checkbox will remain Off. This field helps users quickly identify items with revised deadlines.
Once you have reviewed and updated all required fields, click Create Amendment to complete the ingestion process. This adds the Amendment to the Solicitation record.
View Ingested Amendment Record and AI Summary
When you click the Create Amendment button, the Transform Copilot Amendment ingestion process completes, and you are redirected to the Solicitation record where the Amendment is created.
View AI Summary Section
To view the AISummary section of the newly created Amendment:
On the Solicitation record, go to the related Solicitation Amendments and open the Amendment record.
