In order for your users to use the Suite of TechnoMile products, you will need to enter License keys that are provided by TechnoMile.
A license key is specific to each environment and cannot be used across environments. Each time you need a new license key you will need to open a case with the TechnoMile support team to get one created.
Once you have your license keys you can put them in following the instructions below
Locating Keys
- Go to Setup
- Search for 'Custom Settings'
- Find the 2 'TM License Key setting' custom settings
- Look at the Namespace prefix associated with each one
License Keys are by product suite and are segmented by package.
Only one license key will go in the 'TM License Key Setting' with the Namespace prefix of 'TM_Analytics', that will be your GovSearch AI key that your TechnoMile representative provides you.
All other keys will go into the 'TM_TOMA' setting.
Inserting Keys
If you already have keys in the org and are simply replacing them you can skip the step to create the custom setting and instead just modify the existing license to update the license key.
- To create the setting to hold the license key click on 'Manage' beside the custom setting, that will take you to the screen below
- Click on 'New'
*Note* you must click on the new at the top of the page, not the one on the list below
You will know you clicked on the correct one if your screen looks similar to the screenshot below where location is not a field that can be filled in. (this is the screenshot for the TM_Analytics setting, but applies the same to TM_TOMA).
- Take your license key that was provided from TechnoMile and place it into the key field.
- Click Save
You will follow this same process for the TM_TOMA package as well
TechnoMile will provide those keys and you will need to either update/replace or create the setting to update them with the values.
