Overview
The Limitation Of Funds (LOF) feature on Our Contracts and CLIN/SLINs enables Contract Managers to automatically receive notifications when an LOF letter needs to be sent to the government Contracting Officer for any Our Contract or . It also allows them to create the LOF letter.
LOF estimates the future LOF percentage based on the entered field values. If the future LOF percentage exceeds the threshold LOF percentage, then the system notifies the Contract Manager through an email to send the LOF letter. Once the LOF letter is created, another email is sent to the Contract Manager with the same information.
This document is a step-by-step guide on how you can configure the LOF feature on both Our Contracts and CLIN/SLINs in Salesforce.
