The 2026.1.1 release introduces a set of enhancements focused on security, operational efficiency, data consistency, and improved administrative visibility across the Contracts experience. Key improvements include secure DocuSign credential management through Azure Key Vault, greater flexibility in subcontract creation and performance tracking, automated date synchronization, streamlined partner onboarding, and more efficient adverse action workflows. The release also introduces a centralized component health dashboard, giving administrators greater visibility into system configuration and compliance while reducing manual tracking and administrative effort.

Contracts

• Enabled Azure Key Vault for DocuSign – DocuSign private keys that were previously exposed in plain-text configuration are now stored securely in Azure Key Vault, closing a significant security gap and aligning DocuSign credential management with the existing Azure Key Vault pattern when clients choose to enable Azure Key Vault.

• Flexible Subcontract Creation for Direct and Indirect Spend: A new Spend Classification field enables users to create subcontracts without a contract reference for Indirect Spend scenarios, while maintaining the existing contract-required workflow for Direct Spend. Built-in safeguards, including automatic clearing of the Contract field when the spend classification is changed and locking the field after subcontract creation, help maintain data integrity and prevent downstream workflow disruptions.

• End-to-End Subcontract Performance Visibility at the CLIN Level: Subcontract Managers can now directly associate Subcontract CLINs with their corresponding Parent Contract CLINs, providing prime contract owners with clear visibility into which subcontractors are performing against each prime CLIN. This is provided through a view-only experience at the contract level, ensuring that financial rollups remain unaffected and preventing unintended data modifications.

• Automated Date Synchronization from Periods of Performance: Subcontract start and end dates are now automatically synchronized with the associated POP. The Base Period Start Date and Last Option Year End Date are automatically populated on the Subcontract General tab, eliminating the need for admins to manually reconcile dates between contracts and subcontracts. Users can still manually adjust these dates when required, providing flexibility while maintaining data consistency.

• Streamlined Partner Onboarding Through Automated Record Creation: A Partner record is now automatically created whenever a new Account is created, eliminating the need to manually create multiple records before initiating an Agreement. Smart auto-population and filtering of associated partners during agreement creation ensures BD managers can move from account setup to active agreements faster and with fewer data entry errors.  

• Streamlined Adverse Action Workflows: Users can now bypass irrelevant BPF stages when a response is not required, reducing unnecessary process steps for straightforward adverse action cases. The Response Required field is locked after the Draft stage to prevent changes that could disrupt workflow logic and compromise process integrity.

• Unified Component Health Visibility: Admins now have access to a single, structured dashboard that provides visibility into enabled/disabled, managed/unmanaged, and non-compliant components across categories. This eliminates the need for manual Excel-based deployment tracking and provides a centralized view of component health and compliance.
