Introduction

GovSearchAI is a solution built for government contractors to streamline federal data management, and reporting, and gain more actionable intel. GovSearchAI does this by centralizing real-time Federal data directly from sources such as USAspending Federal Procurement Data Systems (FPDS)and GovSearch. Upon installation, GovSearchAI data and functionality from these sources are available on multiple objects within your CRM org, including Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.

GovSearchAI transforms the way capture and Proposal managers do business and simplifies Partner and competitor analysis. It enables government contractors to more efficiently access, analyze, and make decisions on federal data with enhanced automation.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that GovSearchAI Connector and Growth Suite - Sales Cloud Edition is already installed and configured. The versions of these packages must be 2024.2 or higher.

Connect Accounts to GovSearchAI

Auto-matching Accounts

1. Navigate to the Accounts list page and click New. 
   

   NOTE

   Alternatively, you can navigate to an existing Account record to view the auto-matched details.

2. Select a record type and click Next.
   

3. Enter the Account Name and other required details and click Save.
   
   The account record is created.
   

Observations:

• Based on the Account Name, the Account is auto-matched with a record from GovSearchAI using fuzzy logic. The fuzzy logic skims through the records in GovSearchAI and arrives at potential matches with a matching score. The record with the highest matching score is auto-matched with the created record in CRM.

• The details of the matched record are retrieved from GovSearchAI and mapped to the corresponding fields in the CRM system for display.

Unmatching an Auto-matched Account

If the auto-matched Account is not the right match for your Account in Salesforce, you can unmatch it and then match it to the Account of your choice.

1. Navigate to an Account record for which you want to remove the existing match.

2. Click Unmatch.
   

   The Account is unmatched. 
   

Matching Account based on Score Suggestions

1. Navigate to an unmatched Account record.

2. Click click here to start the matching process.
   
   A list of prospective matches ordered by the matching score displays.
   

3. Click Match against the record that you consider is the best match for this Account.
   
   The page is refreshed to display the Account record with newly matched Account information from GovSearchAI. 
   

Matching Account based on Search Results

1. Navigate to an unmatched Account record.

2. Click click here to start the matching process. 
   
   A list of prospective matches ordered by the matching score displays.
   

3. In the search bar, enter the search text and click the search icon. 
   
   The records matching the search text display.

4. Click Match for the record that best matches the account.
   
   The page refreshes and displays the account record with the matched GovSearchAI information.
   

No Matches for Search

1. Navigate to an unmatched Account record.

2. Click click here to start the matching process. A list of prospective matches ordered by the matching score displays.

3. In the search bar, enter the search text and click the search icon.
   
   Based on no matching records for the search text, the following page displays. 
   

Portal Punch-out Buttons

Agency

1. Go to Accounts and open an account.

   

2. On the Agency record page, click View Agency in GovSearchAI.
   
   The Agency Details page opens in the GovSearchAI portal. 
   

Vendor

1. Go to Accounts and open a vendor account record.

   

2. On the vendor record, click View Vendor in GovSearchAI.
   

3. The Vendor Details page opens in the GovSearchAI portal.

   

Connect Opportunity to GovSearchAI

Connecting Opportunity by TM Opportunities

1. Open the App Launcher, go to Opportunities, and open an opportunity record.
   

2. On the Opportunity record page, click the GSAI tab, and select TM Opportunities.
   
   A list of matching records displays.
   

3. Select the correct record and click Match to CRM.
   
   The opportunity is matched.
   

4. To unmatch the opportunity, click Unmatch from CRM.
   

Connecting Opportunity by NoticesIQ

1. On the Opportunity record page, click the GSAI tab, and select NoticesIQ.
   

2. Use the search bar and filters to find a specific opportunity record.

   Sort the records if needed.
   
   

3. Click Match to CRM.

   

   The opportunity is matched.
   

4. 1. To unmatch the opportunity, click Unmatch from CRM.
