Key updates in this release include the introduction of automated contract modification intake using Transform Copilot, streamlining a high-volume process for Contracts teams, as well as Revolutionary FAR Overhaul deviations added to the TechnoMile Clause Library. In addition, this update brings a range of enhancements to Mila – TechnoMile's intelligent digital assistant – including source citations on Mila responses and expanded capabilities for AI-enabled document comparison and redlining.
Feature Enhancements
Contract Lifecycle Management: Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Deviations Added to Clause Library – The TechnoMile Clause Library now includes Revolutionary FAR Overhaul deviations to standard FAR clauses, as well as DFAR deviations from 2025 and 2026. These deviations are available for direct selection by a user when managing contract clauses, as well as for matching by Transform Copilot during the clause extraction and analysis process, helping clients stay current with evolving FAR requirements and reducing the risk of applying outdated clause language.
CLM: Limitation of Funds Automation Enhancement – The client’s admin now has the flexibility to designate whether Limitation of Funds should be calculated based on total funding or only total funded cost for their organization’s contracts. When the new “Use funded cost for LOF calculation” option is checked, all the calculations at the contract and child CLIN level use the sum of CLIN/SLIN Funded Cost fields instead of Total Contract Funding, ensuring LOF thresholds are calculated on the preferred basis, reducing compliance risk.
CLM: ANCs Added to Small Business Subcontracting Plans – A new goal type – Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and Indian Tribes that have not been certified by the Small Business Administration as Small Disadvantaged Businesses – is now available on the small business plan goals page, helping clients stay compliant with FAR subcontracting goal requirements for ANCs and Tribes, regardless of their SBA certification status.
CLM: OCI Workflow Improvements – Now, when defining the workflow for an Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) sweep, both sequential (one user at a time) and concurrent (multiple users can take action at once) review/approval steps may be used. In addition, a new recall feature is available that recalls the current review/approval requests and resets the OCI record to its previous status. These features give Contracts teams the flexibility to accelerate reviews where appropriate and correct course without restarting a sweep from scratch.
Transform Copilot: Contract Detail Extraction Improvements – This release includes enhancements to the data that is intelligently extracted by Transform Copilot when ingesting a contract award document, including:
Cost/Fee/Price Breakout – When extracting CLIN/SLIN financial details, Transform Copilot now captures the breakout of cost, fee, and price for every line item, helping clients maintain stronger pricing integrity and reduce the manual data entry errors that can lead to billing disputes and audit findings.
POP Remarks – When validating extracted Periods of Performance, users now see the citation describing where POP data was identified and extracted, helping contracts professionals validate faster and with more confidence.
Clause Extraction Enhancements – When ingesting non-standard award documents, TechnoMile’s AI models have been enhanced to extract individual FAR/DFARS clauses even when they are listed in bulk "wall-of-text" paragraphs without standard numbering or line breaks. In addition, our models’ ability to identify and extract uniquely formatted Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clauses has been improved.
Contract & Order Number Combined – When ingesting a task or delivery order on a contract vehicle, the Contract Number assigned by Transform Copilot is now the parent (IDIQ) contract number appended with the child task/delivery order number, clearly preserving the parent/child relationship.
Contract Name Included – Transform Copilot now extracts and displays the Contract Name in addition to the Contract Number, making it easier for a contracts professional to verify which contract they’re ingesting.
Transform Copilot: Save as Draft Improvement – Now, when using the document ingestion wizard to intake a solicitation, award, or modification document, the Save as Draft feature saves not only the user’s current step in the process, but also any data manually entered by the user to update or augment the ingested data, ensuring no manual work is lost when a document intake is paused and picked up later.
Transform Copilot: Source Citations on Mila Responses – When Mila generates a response about a contract, mod, or solicitation, source citations now appear as hoverable footnotes next to each fact, making the answer fast to scan without sacrificing full source attribution. If the user prints, shares, or exports the chat to PDF, all citations are available in a "Sources" footnote list at the bottom of the exported view, giving clients the traceability they need to support audit and compliance reviews.
Transform Copilot: Preferred Storage for Transform Copilot Documents – Clients can now configure the preferred document storage connected to their CLM – including the specific storage folder – so documents uploaded to Transform Copilot land exactly where the client's file governance requires.
Pre-Award Management: POP, CLIN/SLIN, and External POC Details Push to Contract – Create Contract enables users to generate a draft contract record in the CLM using details from a proposal record, eliminating manual data entry and ensuring the draft contract reflects the full context captured during the proposal stage. This release expands the details that can carry forward automatically:
Periods of Performance and CLINs/SLINs tracked on the proposal can now be copied to the draft contract record.
External Points of Contact (POCs) captured on a proposal record are now pushed to Customer Contacts on the contract record, including contact name and role.
Agreement Management: Improvements to Mila for AI-Enabled Document Comparison & Redlining – Mila, TechnoMile’s intelligent digital assistant, supports AI-assisted document comparisons and redlining, speeding review cycles and surfacing potential risk. This release includes several usability and administrative improvements to this capability, including the ability to:
Review tracked changes contained in the same paragraph as a group and Accept/Reject All, speeding and simplifying the redlining process.
Undo/redo the acceptance or rejection of tracked changes, reducing the risk of a mistaken edit during a fast-moving review.
See, add, and edit comments during the document review process, keeping reviewer context and rationale attached to the document itself.
Save progress and exit document compare, then resume the review later, so a review can span multiple sessions without losing work.
See the current status of documents being processed by Mila without manually refreshing the table (Refresh button removed).
Configure organization-wide rules for document deletion (e.g., automatically deleting a document from Mila when it's deleted in the CLM), helping clients maintain a clean, consistent document footprint across systems.
Issues Resolved
CLM – When a contract does not have an option year, the system is not updating the contract status to ended/expired after the base period end date has passed.
